Freedive instructor and spearfisherman. Owner/Founder of Odyssey Freediving. When not teaching courses or organizing Triton events, he enjoys spearfishing in his favorite hunting grounds of Big Sur.
Nick Hernandez
Triton Vice President
Bamboo Reef General Manager and Santa Barbara native with deep freediving and spearfshing roots. Nick is active in the community and can be seen most days helping out divers at the shop.
Brian Stanley
Owner/Head Instructor Bamboo Reef
Owner of Bamboo Reef Dive Centers in Monterey and San Francisco, NAUI SCUBA Instructor and Freedive Instructor Trainer, and avid spearfisherman.
Jack Matyas
Triton Pointmaster
Jack is an avid spearfisherman and serves the community with his dedicated staff work at Bamboo Reef. He is one of the most knowledgable freedivers in the area and helps spearos with equipment and education on a daily basis. Jack is the guru behind the King of the Tritons point system and helps manage the Triton tournament scorecards.
Blaine McClish
Triton Officer
Freediver, spearo, charter captain, and sailing instructor. He moved from the sailing industry to the dive industry during the pandemic and volunteers leading freedivers for the Watermans Alliance Kelp Restoration Project.

A California native, Canyon grew up splitting his time freediving and spearfishing the northern coast of California and the southern tip of the Baja peninsula
