The Monterey Bay Tritons is an educational resource for the freediving and spearfishing community. Newer divers, adventurers, foragers, and cooks can find engaging, entertaining, and educational content. Those with more experience can hone their skills and learn new tricks, tips, and recipes.
Beginners Guide

Take A Course
Freediving and spearfishing are no easy task. Our role as a club is to help develop individuals in to capable freedivers who have the skills and knowledge to hunt underwater. Our local sponsor Odyssey Freediving offers Freediver certification courses and Intro to Spearfishing courses. These courses are the foundation for the knowledge and capability to become a spearfisherman.
